Building beyond the forms

Kevin and Laura Ward have been running a home and a business for over thirty years together now. They raised four entrepreneurial children and nothing softens both of them up more than the presence of their granddaughter. 

The business has evolved over the decades and so have they. 

Today the business is their baby. The staff are looked over like children and respected as grown men and women at the same time. The customers and suppliers are treated like family. This is the Ward way. 

They live in Middleboro, MA and when they aren't working on the job they are working on their home or in their yard, or spending time with the kids or in the woods.

Kevin provides the technical General Contractor experience and grit to get the job done right. Laura provides the organizational and people skills that many construction people lack. Together they provide a solid foundation and an experience like no other construction or masonry company.

Kevin Ward

Kevin went to Upper Cape Trade School and was moving blocks and mixing mud while his friends were pushing pencils trying to get into college.

When he met Laura she had two children already and he took care of them via masonry and working multiple other jobs. It wasn't long before he formed his first construction business.

Kevin truly is a stand up guy and he will do what he says he's going to do. He has experience overseeing large jobs spanning over twenty stories and two years long, but he's also happy flexing his creativity on small jobs and getting back to his roots.

Laura Ward

Laura is the oldest of thirteen children and then had four kids of her own early on. To say that she can multi-task and has patience is an understatement.

When Kevin wanted to go out on his own she has supported him ever since. Providing the organizational and people skills that many construction companies lack.

Laura is a woman on a mission to make KL Construction Co a great place to work with and for. She stewards the staff and the relationships we build. She keeps Kevin and the crew on point. She provides a great welcoming experience, but isn't afraid to put her foot down or her hard hat on.
